The straight, clean lines of the chest are a reminder of the simpler days when technology was not even yet a dream. This 6-drawer chest is also available with a 5-drawer option. The overall unit size is exactly the same, but the drawers are a tad bit deeper for storing things like heavy sweaters and blankets. Specify when ordering.

The dresser is made by a highly experienced Amish crafter in Ohio. They have been building quality barnwood furniture and buildings for many years, passing the knowledge down through the generations.

Full extension drawer slides are standard on all drawers. Undermount soft close slides available as an upgrade. Select this option under "Drawer Slides" if desired. Drawer slide hardware is hidden and drawers softly close with just a push.

  • All wood used on this barnwood chest of drawers is 100% reclaimed solid oak barnwood from felled barns sourced throughout the Northeastern United States.
  • All reclaimed barnwood is thoroughly cleaned and dried prior to cutting. In addition, any embedded nails are removed.
  • A kiln drying process exterminates any insects which may have lingered. This critical drying process also brings down the moisture content to 6-8% which minimizes shrinking, cracking and warping in the dresser throughout its lifetime.
  • A low-sheen, catalyzed conversion varnish is used on this bedroom chest. The catalyzed varnish resists scratches, water stains and heat damage. It is also quite easy to clean.
