Solid and sturdy with a sleek design, our Manchester Smooth Barnwood Table is made from solid oak, naturally aged in the great outdoors as a barn built likely more than a hundred years ago. The 1-1/4" top lends a sleek appearance while the straight, slightly tapered legs provide an elegant accent.

The gray/brown tone of our Creek Slate stain has become popular lately and lends a modern, urban tone to the set. The table is shown is the room setting image with the Manchester Chairs, a slightly modernized version of the standard mission design. Clean straight lines with just the right amount of curves for comfort where it counts are the hallmark of the Manchester Dining Ensemble, suitable for a chic urban townhome or a rustic country lodge.

Solid Vs. Extendable Tables

The Manchester Smooth Urban Barnwood Table is available as either a SOLID or EXTENDABLE table in varying sizes. Table top boards on Solid Tables run the long way while table-top boards on Extendable Tables run the short way to allow for separation.

Each EXTENDABLE table is supplied with a removable fifth leg. Use of the extra leg is of course optional, but highly recommended should you plan on leaving the table extended for long periods of time or, when using a large number of leaves.

Pottker Ball Bearing Table Slides

As a 4-legged table, the Extender Table operates with an ungeared slide. Our Pottker Ball Bearing Table Slides are an optional upgrade and allow for a smoother, independent extension of each table side.

Ordering Extension Leaves

Each Extension Table comes standard with one leaf. You may also order 2, 3 or 4 leaves. Additional leaves may be ordered by calling us directly.

Table self stores up to two leaves with the skirt. Leaves 3 and 4 will arrive without the skirt and do not self store. Additional leaves with or without the skirt may be special ordered.

Change The Table Edging

Optional Table Heights

The Manchester Smooth Barnwood Dining Table is available in either the standard 30" table height as shown or optional 36" counter height (aka pub height) or 42" bar height.

Fill The Knot Holes

You have the option to fill knot holes with a clear epoxy or leave as is. The clear epoxy blends in nicely and creates a smooth finish across the wood's surface. Leaving the holes exposed enhances the rustic nature of the piece.

Best Quality Authentic Barnwood Table Construction

  • All wood used on this table is 100% reclaimed solid oak barnwood from felled barns across the eastern US.
  • All lumber is made usable for furniture by undergoing a thorough cleaning and drying process which includes locating and removing any nails with a metal detector and kiln drying to exterminate any insects and their eggs. Kiln drying also brings down the moisture content to roughly 7% which minimizes shrinking and warping later on.
  • A corner brace removable leg system is standard on all leg tables. Two bolts and four screws hold legs on securely.
  • A smooth, protective catalyzed varnish with low sheen finish seals and protects the table for years to come.
