Drawer Options

Drawer Extensions
Full extension drawer slides are standard on all Taos drawers. They extend fully (beyond the front of the buffet), for easy access to the whole drawer.
Undermount soft close slides available as an upgrade. Select this option under "Drawer Slides" below, if desired. This drawer slide hardware is hidden and drawers softly close with just a push.

Mortise and tenon joinery locks all critical joints together
corner blocking reinforced with metal screws and glue firmly secure corner areas
dovetail drawers with full extension slides insure smooth operation
All wood used on this barnwood buffet is 100% reclaimed solid oak barnwood from felled barns sourced throughout the Northeastern United States.
All reclaimed barnwood is thoroughly cleaned and dried prior to cutting. In addition, any embedded nails are removed.
A kiln drying process exterminates any insects which may have lingered. This critical drying process also brings down the moisture content to 6-8% which minimizes shrinking, cracking and warping in the buffet throughout its lifetime.
A low-sheen, catalyzed conversion varnish is used on this barnwood buffet. The catalyzed varnish resists scratches, water stains and heat damage. It is also quite easy to clean.
