Should you desire a size that you do not see, simply give us a call to special order whatever you need in fine cabinetry and woodworking. Most, if not all, of our furniture is made by Amish craftsmen in the USA, and the quality is the finest available.

About Our Catalyzed Varnish

A low-sheen, catalyzed conversion varnish is used on this bookcase and all of our furniture. It is a topcoat used for ultimate durability. Specifically, a hardening agent is added to the lacquer to provide the additional durability. The catalyzed varnish provides the ultimate long lasting finish that is resistant to scratches, water stains and heat damage. It is easy to clean and stays looking great for a long, long time.

About The Construction

Shown in Rustic Cherry with OCS 118 Antique Slate Stain. Also available in Oak, Brown Maple, Quartersawn White Oak and Rustic Hickory. Other Stain Options also available.

Left and right bookcase sides and shelving are made of premium solid hardwood boards, 5/8" total width, premium solid hardwood boards, glued and pressed together with the direction of the wood grain alternating. This is typical of quality furniture and provides added strength and stability to resist cracking and warping over time. Solid slab hardwood sides without glued boards optional.  There is no visible difference. Choose your wood species below.

Backing is made from one thin layer of the premium hardwood species of your choosing. All other parts made from premium hardwood.
