Customize The Unit Top And TV Opening Shelf With Reclaimed Barnwood, Live Edge Or A Rustic Style Plank Top And Use A Contrasting Stain To Create A Standout Look.

Option 1: Available with authentic Reclaimed Barnwood Top across the entire unit and on TV opening shelf. Select the premium hardwood of your choice for the remaining piece.

Option 2: Choose 1-3/4"-Thick Live Edge Top (Cherry, Maple and Walnut only) for the entire unit top and TV opening shelf.

Option 3:  Choose 1"-Thick Top made from the same wood you select for the rest of the piece. Top is planked and aged to simulate the look of real barnwood with either a Rustic Sawmill or Barn Floor Finish (see photo).

Option 4: Choose Barnwood Inlay Accent in front wood doors (choose two, four or all six bottom doors ).

All size models include two outer side doors on side towers made from speaker mesh, two outer side doors on base TV cabinet made from wood and two inner glass doors. Inner door widths in base expand to fit overall width of unit, depending on TV Opening size.

Two Side Towers remain fixed at 23" wide.

About Our Catalyzed Varnish

A catalyzed conversion varnish is used on this entertainment center as on all of our furniture. It is a topcoat used for ultimate durability. Specifically, a hardening agent is added to the lacquer to provide the additional durability. The catalyzed varnish provides the ultimate long lasting finish that is resistant to scratches, water stains and heat damage. It is easy to clean and stays looking great for a long, long time.

About The Construction

Supporting sides of the Metro Cottage Entertainment Center are made of premium solid hardwood boards, 3/4" total width, glued and pressed together with the direction of the wood grain alternating. This is typical of quality furniture and provides added strength and stability to resist cracking and warping over time. Solid slab hardwood sides optional. There is no visible difference. Choose your wood species below.

Backing is made from one thin layer of the premium hardwood species of your choosing.  All other wooden parts made from solid slab premium hardwood.

  • Built by one of our most trusted Amish crafters in Holmes County Ohio.
  • Mortise and tennon construction on all doors.
  • All media cord access holes in the appropriate places. Adjustable shelves in those sections are kept 1" short from the back to keep cord hole accessible from each area.
  • Top quality cabinet hardware from best quality manufacturers including Fulterer, Amerock, Saliche and more.
  • Magnetic catches keep doors closed. Doors with no hardware have an added touch release magnet (applies to inset doors only).
  • Customization available on this entertainment unit! All sizing, door/drawer configurations and hardware can be customized to your liking!
  • Glass door fronts in place of bottom wood door fronts may be special ordered. Must call for details and pricing.
  • Includes one adjustable shelf above TV area.
  • Two glass adjustable shelves in each left and right top hutch sections.
