Our Grand Teton Coffee Table projects a friendly, welcoming atmosphere whether entertaining large groups or just a few close friends in your home. The wonderful textures of the occasional knot hole and other natural distressing of the wood create a marvelous rustic feeling that helps to reconnect with nature. It also blends very well into the many decorating schemes of today's modern world. The mortise and tenon joinery and solid wood construction are a true sign of the quality built into this table. The black metal ornamentation completes the picture, drawing the eye and making the piece a focal point of any room.

Center Drawer

An optional small drawer can be placed in the center of the long side of the rectangular coffee table or, if ordering a square coffee table, the drawer will be placed in the center of one side. Drawer will have full extension ball bearing slides.

About Our Catalyzed Varnish

A low-sheen, catalyzed conversion varnish is used on this coffee table as on all of our furniture. It is a topcoat used for ultimate durability. Specifically, a hardening agent is added to the lacquer to provide the additional durability. The catalyzed varnish provides the ultimate long lasting finish that is resistant to scratches, water stains and heat damage. It is easy to clean and stays looking great for a long, long time.

About Stain Options

Coffee table is shown with a #3 Black Glaze. Due to the nature of reclaimed hard wood, any stain or glaze colors are not uniformly accepted by the aged wood. The black glaze shown in product photo's can appear darker across the entire piece if the glaze is accepted in more areas. Results are beautiful, but unpredictable and unique to each piece.

Typical imperfections of the reclaimed wood can include saw marks, pit holes, knots, cracks etc. Even multiple wood species can be used allowing for differences in shades, colors and tones of the finish from piece to piece.

Should a lighter option be required, we do offer a Fruitwood stain, which provides just a touch of color for a lighter, more natural effect.
