Only ultra-strong dovetail drawers made from solid wood, not particle board, are used and finished inside and out to present a softer, quality feel when placing items in the drawers. Top and sides are well-prepared to resist cracking and warping over time. The catalyzed varnish protects from heat and water damage too.

The reverse panel design of the sides coordinate with the dresser and armoire in the Charleston grouping.
