The Barclay Barn Wood Fixed Bench Seat is offered in 5 different lengths including 48", 60", 72", 84" and 96". Bench sizes are designed to fit varying widths of the Barclay Barnwood Dining Table.

The Acacia Barnwood Extend-A-Bench is also available with different sizes should you need a bench that is extendable

Filled Or Open Knot Holes

As with all reclaimed barnwood furniture, you will see occasional knot or nail holes. You have the option to fill these holes in the bench seat with a clear epoxy or leave as is. Filling the holes with the clear epoxy creates a nice smooth surface on the seat. Leaving the holes exposed enhances the rustic nature of the piece.

Only high quality methods are used in the making of the Barclay Barnwood Bench

  • Mortise and tenon joinery locks all critical joints together
  • corner blocking reinforced with metal screws and glue firmly secure the base to the bench seat
  • Cross beam is one solid wooden beam that extends through bench base supports
  • All wood used on this barnwood bench is 100% reclaimed solid oak barnwood from felled barns sourced throughout the Northeastern United States.
  • All reclaimed lumber undergoes a thorough cleaning and drying process including removing any embedded nails and kiln drying to exterminate any creatures and their eggs which may be hiding in the old wood. Kiln drying also brings down the moisture content to roughly 7% which minimizes shrinking, cracking and warping later on.
  • A smooth, protective catalyzed varnish with low sheen finish seals and protects the bench making it a lasting heirloom piece for many years to come.
