This Rustic Farmhouse Dining Side Chair is a modern variation of the centuries-old ladderback style. The two horizontal slats in the back of the chair give it a styling that blends well with all the modern furniture styles while the distressing gives it a more rustic feel. The two back legs have a slight curve while the two front legs are straight and a bit thicker.

The 42" x 60" table can fit up to two side chairs per long side plus two arm chairs on the end for a total of six chairs. With two side chairs on either side, the arm chairs will not fully tuck under the table.

The 42" x 72" table can fit up to three side chairs per long side plus two arm chairs on either end for a total of eight chairs. With three chairs on either side of the table, the end arm chairs will not fully tuck under.

About Wood Options

This dining room side chair is available in Rustic Cherry, Brown Maple, Red Oak, Quartersawn White Oak and Rustic Hickory in rustic finishes shown. Other wood species available in smooth finish only including Walnut, Rustic Walnut, Hard Maple, Curly Maple, Hickory, Elm, Alder and Knotty Alder. Call for special ordering in other wood species.

About Our Catalyzed Varnish

A low-sheen, catalyzed conversion varnish is used on this chair as on all of our furniture. It is a topcoat used for ultimate durability. Specifically, a hardening agent is added to the lacquer to provide the additional durability. The catalyzed varnish provides the ultimate long lasting finish that is resistant to scratches, water stains and heat damage. It is easy to clean and stays looking great for a long, long time.
