The deep gray tone of our Creek Slate finish on the bench top paired with the black hue of the Ebony color on the legs creates the perfect 2-tone combination to add a touch of big city modern to this otherwise rustic barnwood bench.

Various sizes available to fit different length tables including 46", 58", 70", 82" and 94" length benches. All size benches are 13" wide x 18" high.

Various Bench Seat Lengths

The Newbury Barn Wood Fixed-Width Bench Seat is offered in 5 different lengths including 46", 58", 70", 82" and 94". The different lengths are designed to fit varying lengths of the Newbury Barnwood Dining Table.

  • 46" bench fits between legs of 60" table
  • 58" bench fits between legs of 72" table
  • 70" bench fits between legs of 84" table
  • 82" bench fits between legs of 96" table

The Acacia Barnwood Extend-A-Bench is also available with an optional number of leaves should you need a bench that is extendable.

Filled Or Open Knot Holes

As with all reclaimed barn wood furniture, you will see occasional knot or nail holes. You have the option to fill these holes in the bench seat with a clear epoxy or leave as is. Filling the holes with the clear epoxy creates a nice smooth surface on the seat.

  • Mortise and tenon joinery locks all critical joints together
  • Corner blocking reinforced with metal screws and glue firmly secure the legs and bench seat together
  • Made from solid reclaimed oak barnwood from felled barns sourced throughout Ohio and the Northeast.
  • All reclaimed lumber undergoes a thorough cleaning and drying process including removing all embedded nails and kiln drying to exterminate any creatures and their eggs which may have been hiding in the old wood. Kiln drying also brings down the moisture content to roughly 7% which minimizes shrinking, cracking and warping later on.
  • A smooth, protective catalyzed varnish with low sheen finish seals and protects the bench. This helps to make it a lasting heirloom piece for many generations to come.
