About Our Catalyzed Varnish
A low-sheen, catalyzed conversion varnish is used on this barnwood chair as on all of our furniture. It is a protective topcoat used to keep the chair looking like new for many years to come. The catalyzed varnish provides the ultimate finish that is resistant to scratches, water stains and heat damage. It is easy to clean and keeps the chair looking great for a long, long time.

Fill The Knot Holes
As with all reclaimed barnwood furniture, there may be occasional knot or nail holes in the wood. You have the option to fill these holes in the seat with a clear epoxy or leave as is. The clear epoxy blends in nicely and creates a smooth finish across the seat's surface. Leaving the holes exposed enhances the rustic nature of the piece.
