Our strong and sturdy Charleston Armoire provides an excellent storage option for the bedroom. Two adjustable shelves behind the doors are perfect for storing large, bulky items like heavy sweaters and blankets. Three bottom drawers easily slide open for additional clothing items.

The beauty of the barnwood lies in the natural distressed character that has built up over nearly a century of exposure to the harsh ice and snow of the Northeast, not to mention the high heat and humidity of the summer. Each barnwood piece has been thoroughly prepared for its second life as a fine furniture piece in your bedroom! Wood is kiln dried to prevent warping and cracking over time. After construction, the entire Armoire is finished with a protective catalyzed varnish that will keep it looking beautiful for many generations to come.

  • All reclaimed barnwood is thoroughly cleaned and dried prior to cutting. In addition, any embedded nails are removed.
  • A kiln drying process exterminates any insects which may have lingered. This critical drying process also brings down the moisture content to 6-8% which minimizes shrinking, cracking and warping in the dresser throughout its lifetime.
  • A low-sheen, catalyzed conversion varnish is used on this bedroom chest. The catalyzed varnish resists scratches, water stains and heat damage. It is also quite easy to clean.
