The Salina Smooth Barn Wood Bench Coordinates With The Salina Trestle Table

The light gray tone of the Pewter stain on the bench combined with the smooth finish of the barnwood creates a modern twist to an otherwise rustic furniture piece.

Various sizes available to fit different length tables including 48", 60", 72", 84" and 96" length benches. All size benches are 13" wide x 18" high.

Shown in standard Pewter Stain with low sheen catalyzed varnish.  A wide selection of standard and premium finishes are available.

Not all Amish crafters provide the same degree of quality, in fact many claim to be Amish but in fact use mass production techniques. This bench was made by one of our favorite Amish crafters in a small, family-owned woodshop in Ohio. Their techniques are simply the best when it comes to fine furniture crafting.

Various Bench Seat Lengths

The Salina Barn Wood Bench Seat is offered in 5 different lengths including 48", 60", 72", 84" and 96". The different lengths are designed to fit varying lengths of the Salina Smooth Barnwood Dining Table.

The Acacia Barnwood Extend-A-Bench is also available with an optional number of leaves should you need a bench that is extendable.

Filled Or Open Knot Holes

You may see occasional knot or nail holes. You have the option to fill these holes in the bench seat with a clear epoxy or leave as is. Filling the holes creates a nice smooth surface on the seat.

  • Mortise and tenon joints lock connecting parts together
  • corner blocking reinforced with metal screws and glue firmly secure corner areas
  • You have the option to upholster the bench seat or leave it as a solid barnwood seat
  • Fabric and leather upholstery materials are hand stretched over the seat cushioning which is top quality, long lasting foam cushioning
  • All wood used on this barnwood bench is 100% reclaimed solid oak barnwood from felled barns sourced locally throughout Eastern Ohio and surrounding areas.
  • All lumber is made usable for furniture by undergoing a stringent cleaning and drying process which includes locating and removing any nails with a metal detector and kiln drying to exterminate any insects and their eggs. Kiln drying also brings down the moisture content to roughly 7% which minimizes shrinking and warping later on.
  • A smooth, protective catalyzed varnish with low sheen finish seals and protects the chair for years to come.
