A Note About Reclaimed Barnwood: This wood is actual wood harvested from old barns and will contain cracks, holes, knots, gouges and other rustic characteristics. This is the nature of this wood and is sold on an "as is" basis. There are no returns or warranty claims on our barn wood.

Our Farmingdale Kitchen Island Is Solid Oak Reclaimed Barnwood Through And Through

This Farmhouse Kitchen Island has been handcrafted from authentic reclaimed barnwood and measures 60" wide. 48" wide size also available or let us customize to the size you require.

Top is 1-3/4" thick with a protective catalyzed conversion varnish to give it a smooth, soft-to-the-touch finish that is never splintery or left feeling dried out.

Features six full-extension drawers with side-mount drawer slides and dovetail drawer box construction. Upgrade to soft-close undermount drawer slides if desired. Includes one adjustable shelf behind each cabinet door.

Shown in a premium 2-tone finish with Clear top and Distressed Pearl on island base. Many additional finish options available.

Drawer Options

Full extension drawer slides are standard on all drawers. Undermount soft close slides available as an upgrade. Select this option under "Drawer Slides" if desired. Drawer slide hardware is hidden and drawers softly close with just a push.

Best Quality Solid Oak Genuine Reclaimed Barnwood Construction

  • Mortise and tenon joints lock connecting parts together
  • corner blocking reinforced with metal screws and glue firmly secure corner areas
  • dovetail drawers with full extension slides insure smooth operation

All wood used on this barnwood kitchen island is 100% reclaimed solid oak barnwood.

All reclaimed barnwood is thoroughly cleaned and dried prior to cutting. In addition, any embedded nails are removed.

A kiln drying process exterminates any insects which may have lingered. This critical drying process also lessens the moisture content to 6-8% which is essential in furniture making to minimize shrinking, cracking and warping in the server throughout its lifetime.

Low-sheen, catalyzed conversion varnish is used on this barnwood server. This protective varnish resists scratches, water stains and heat damage. It is also ultra easy to clean.
