The bench actually pulls apart just like an extendable table allowing you to insert the leaves and extend the bench along with the table.

All Extend-A-Bench sizes measure 13" wide x 18" high and each comes complete with leaves and a storage box as shown.

    You have the option to fill the occasional knot or nail holes in the bench seat with a clear epoxy. Filling the holes with the clear epoxy creates a nice smooth surface on the seat. Leaving the holes exposed enhances the rustic nature of the piece.
